Nurses United for Safe Staffing and Quality Care   

The SEIU Nurse Alliance will continue its national Stand for Patients campaign during National Nurses Week to call for safe staffing standards that all hospitals and other health care facilities must follow.

We're fighting for state and federal legislation that will:

• establish safe staffing standards in hospitals and other health care facilities;
• ban mandatory overtime to ensure nurses can continue to deliver quality care;
• provide whistleblower protections for caregivers who report problems with patient care.
