Health quicks

During an electrical storm, stay away from isolated trees and tall
structures. Avoid being on open water. Don't use electrical appliances or
talk on the phone.

If you're taking St. John's Wort, be aware that it may decrease the
effectiveness of birth control pills. It's also known to interact with
digoxin, blood thinners, and many other medications

Protect against recreational water illnesses. When you take your kids to
public pools, have them take bathroom breaks frequently. Don't wait for kids to say they need to go. Keep children with diarrhea out of the water. Place protective swim pant on young children who aren't toilet trained.

Consider installing motion sensor lights outside your home. They can provide you with extra lighting when you arrive home after dark. And they're a deterrent to intruders. You may be able to replace existing lights without additional wiring.
